THE GARDENS AT BUCKMASTER HOUSE
You’ll have noticed quite a lot of activity within the garden in recent times.
It was decided that we should now employ the services of professional gardeners to lighten Peter’s load! On a regular basis, they’ll be spending a day a month, initially working on the perimeter boundary and, once that’s tamed, they’ll be moving on to the borders so that these can become much more colourful and inviting.
As a special project however, they were asked to tackle the garden area in the south-east corner (see photo above) since this had become a total wilderness! This has now been suitably cleared and, whilst it looks a little barren at the moment, the works will allow the remaining shrubs and trees to prosper next spring.
